“The Blockchain movement is causing a disruption on a massive scale by not only completely realigning the current global ecosystems but changing the way we live our lives.”

This is classic hype. The article cites India’s identity program as one supposed use case for blockchain. Yet there is no need. See what Dumoulin wrote earlier lambasting the article.

The author does not describe the slowness of blockchain and the wasteful duplication of data. Oh. The sheer volume of garbage seen on deadcoins. Today it lists 934 dead coins. Due to outright fraud or just crypto schemes that could not be built or for which there was no demand. So the startups just folded. Or said they folded. Maybe they boogied with the money raised from their ICOs.

I make a prediction. Years from now the author will regret ever writing this and similar nonsense touting blockchain.
